Get SafeAppeals up and running on your computer in just a few minutes.
System Requirements
Windows 10/11, macOS (Apple Silicon), or Linux (64-bit)
1.6 GHz or faster
500 MB free space
SafeAppeals is available for Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon), and Linux.
Download
Download the latest version of SafeAppeals from GitHub:
Choose your platform on the downloads page, or visit the GitHub releases for older versions.
Installation Steps
Run the Installer
Run the installer for your platform. On Windows, if SmartScreen appears, click 'More info' then 'Run anyway'. On macOS, drag to Applications. On Linux, extract the tar.gz archive.
Choose Installation Location
Select where to install SafeAppeals. The default location (Program Files) works for most users.
Complete Installation
Click 'Install' and wait for the process to complete. This usually takes less than a minute.
Launch SafeAppeals
Once installed, launch SafeAppeals from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
Setting Up AI Credits
To use the AI features, you'll need either:
- Safe Appeals Cloud Credits — Purchase credits from this website and sign in with Google. No API keys needed.
- Your Own API Keys (BYOK) — Free! Bring your own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
Using Safe Appeals Cloud (Recommended)
- 1Sign in to Safe Appeals Cloud with Google
- 2Purchase a credit pack ($30 for 700K tokens)
- 3In SafeAppeals, open Settings and select "Safe Appeals Cloud" as your provider
- 4Sign in with the same Google account
